Italy’s Best Kept Wine Secrets: A Journey Back to the Land of Wine
Two thousand years ago, the Italian peninsula was legendary. "The Land of Wine," they called it—a title spoken with reverence, where Bacchus himself might have roamed the vineyards. Yet, today, the world thinks of Italy and salivates for its cuisine, forgetting the nectar that put it on the map.
So, what happened? And more importantly, what’s still waiting to be rediscovered?
Join author and importer Tony Margiotta for a one-hour virtual escape into the heart of Italian wine culture. Together, we’ll unravel secrets hidden in the hills, valleys, and cellars of a land still brimming with vinous treasures—ones the big brands don’t want you to know.
Here’s What Awaits You:
--The Italian Wines Offering Unmatched Value (perfect for impressing guests without breaking the bank).
--One Wine You Should Avoid at All Costs (yes, even in Italy!).
--The Emperor's Wine (hint: it’s as bold as it is legendary).
--Four Micro Wineries Fighting for Authenticity Over Advertising (and why their wines are worth every sip).
--Four Heavenly Italian Wine & Food Pairings That Will Outshine Any Restaurant Meal.
This is not just another wine class.
It’s an experience—a virtual taste of La Dolce Vita in the company of like-minded enthusiasts and the insider knowledge of Tony Margiotta.
And the best part? We’ll be tasting four rare, hard-to-find artisan wines from across Italy, each handpicked for this journey.
